Aso Oke, pronounced “Ah-soh Oh-keh,” meaning “top cloth” in Yoruba, is a handwoven fabric originating from the Yoruba people of southwestern Nigeria. Also known as Aso Ofi, its history stretches back hundreds of years, deeply rooted in the ancient weaving traditions of Yoruba communities.
